Where are we heading

Some days back, there was a news that in Banglore, when parents are out to work, the maid used to send the toddler on rent for the whole day. The buyers used to give sleeping medicines to kids and used them for begging....I was shocked to see this news...When the parents think that their child is in safe hands, innocent kids' life is made miserable by the money makers....what a pity.

Are we doing injustice to our kids? Are we becoming so much busy in the race of making money that we are forgetting our primary responsibilities??

But the life has become so materialistic that it is necessary for both parents to earn money so that they can give their child every happiness of the world. They would be very unhappy to know that the apple of their eye is being sold for just Rs 100 or 200.

Some people say that to overcome this problem, the woman should leave her work and sit at home for the kid. If it is her will and she wants to be with her kid sharing happy  moments with him or her, then its fine. But what if she is not willing to leave her job knowing the fact that she has the capabilities and she can prove to the world that she is not made just to live and die.A woman may have goals in life but all her goals are left behind her other priorities. Moreover her financial conditions may not allow her to leave the job.

Then what is the solution of the problem....

The need is that the home maids should be employed after knowing their full background and should not be blindly trusted. Also, the parents should give surprise visits to home to check if everything is fine at home. This may reduce these mishappenings to a large extent.
